Blackout Poetry

Use newspapers, books, or old magazines. Have the students blackout the text to make poetry.

Block Poetry

Use duplos or legos and labels create poetry. Write words on labels that will fit on the blocks. Put the labels on the blocks. Have students create poetry with the blocks. Read the poetry with the class.
