Career Technical Education (CTE)

The ISD 917 Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs provide free CTE education for high school students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades for our member districts in the south metro.  Students are bused from their resident district to attend 100-minute CTE classes in our hands-on, technology-rich learning and working environments at ISD 917 as part of their school day.

About Career Technical Education (CTE)

Co-located on the campus of Dakota County Technical College (DCTC), ISD 917 CTE programs provide hands-on experience with curriculum, materials, and equipment that meet industry standards to prepare them for post-secondary learning and/or the workforce.  10th-12th grade students from our nine member districts are eligible for our CTE programs.
